After her stressful legal case against actor Johnny Depp, Amber Heard has been decompressing in Spain. And it appears that Heard has found a safe place to live outside of the United States. Heard is currently located in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, with her one-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige Heard. Heard and her daughter are currently staying with Hollywood writer, producer, and cinematographer Bianca Butti who also likes living in Spain away from the United States.

Since Depp won the defamation lawsuit several months ago, he has traveled to various parts of the world. Heard, on the other hand, has been staying in isolation with her friend in Spain. She hasn’t appeared much in public since the trial and is instead focusing on her daughter and living life without Depp’s influence.

After the verdict went in Depp’s favor, Heard is supposed to pay $8.3 million; however, she is appealing the case and hopes to have the amount of money reduced or removed from the original decision.

Heard’s prospects of avoiding the $8.3 million penalty for losing the defamation lawsuit against Johnny Depp do not look good. One judge has already denied her appeal request, and her latest request- to rule the trial a mistrial and do the proceedings over again in front of a televised audience as though it were taking place for the first time- seems unlikely to be successful.

On July 1, 2022, Heard filed a motion to appeal. In the request for an appeal, Heard’s legal team claimed that there were discrepancies among the jury members. They argued that enough people summoned to work on the jury had been replaced by others by the time of trial to overturn the current verdict against Heard.

Spain is the perfect place for Heard to relax and spend time with her baby daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard. She is also having lots of fun with her friend, Butti, who has a few credits to her name as a director of various films and flicks.

Most recently, Heard has appeared in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. She is also soon to appear in In the Fire, which is currently being edited after filming is completed.

Contrastingly, her ex-husband Hollywood A-lister Johnny Depp is set to star in a new Netflix film La Favorite.

Both Heard and Depp appear to be doing well following their split. In fact, Depp seems to be victorious recently after winning his court case.
