Robin Kaye, the acclaimed music supervisor behind American Idol, has been found dead alongside her husband, Thomas Deluca, in what police are investigating as a double homicide. The couple was discovered inside their Encino home on Monday after LAPD officers conducted a welfare check.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the responding officers arrived at the property and noticed blood near the front door. Unable to make contact with anyone inside, they broke a window to gain entry, where they found Robin and Thomas deceased from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

The couple was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is being treated as a double murder, though details remain limited and no suspects have been taken into custody.

The welfare check was reportedly prompted by concerns from family members who hadn’t heard from the couple in four days. It’s unclear who placed the call. During the visit, police informed neighbors of the communication gap. Rwad more below
