Star Of Happy Days Posts Support for Wife Getting Scan for Brain Tumors

When Happy Days star Scott Baio appeared on the show in the 1970s, he played the likable character Chachi Arcola, The Fonz’s younger cousin. While Scott Baio continues to act and direct, his most important role these days is as a family man and real-life husband to his wife, Renee Sloan.

Renee and Scott recently tweeted about Renee’s MRI for her annual brain tumor scan.

In 2015, doctors diagnosed Scott Bai Rene’s wife with a meningioma brain tumor. Before that, she suffered from migraines and cluster headaches for almost two years.

Like many other women, doctors initially cited hormonal changes as the culprit because she was over 40 and approaching menopause. Renee told People at the time, “I want to raise awareness about this. Unfortunately, many women are given this explanation and need to be checked – the MRI didn’t find the tumor, but the contrast-enhanced MRI did.”

A desire to help educate the public about this type of tumor, which affects 6,500 people — mostly women — each year is what drives actor Scott Bay and his wife, Renee, to speak openly about Renee’s health trials and efforts continuous to stay healthy. .

Just as they both asked for prayers at the time of Renee’s diagnosis, they share knowledge and encouragement to help others who may be suffering today. Renee said: “God doesn’t challenge weak people – he put that to me and I’m not going to question it. If I can save one person on the street, I’m good.”

Of course, Renee’s initial post showing her 2022 annual test and Scott’s retweet of the same were well received. Fans expressed their continued support and gratitude for Scott and Renee, who he called “my bride” in his post. With wishes and prayers, the vast majority received the information exactly as it should, without criticism.

But, as always, there is someone who reacts negatively. One individual commented: “The radiation from the scan will cause cancer! What stupid behavior!” To this Scott responded with the facts of the case.

Mr. Baio, we loved you as Chachi, and we love you even more for taking care of Renee and doing your part to help others stay informed and healthy!
