Tim Allen Stands Up To Disney, Fought to Put Christ Back in Christmas in New Show

Actor and comedian Tim Allen recently said he fought to include Christian programming in new Disney+ series The Santa Clauses. The new Christmas special is based off the film series, The Santa Clause, in which Allen starred as Ol’ Saint Nick

In this new series, the Allen claimed he wanted the show to include more of an emphasis on what Christmas is really about; celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

Allen stated in an interview:

“It originally had a lot of otherworldly characters, and ghosts, and goblins. I said no, this is Christ-mas. Its Christ-mas. It literally is a religious holiday.”

“We don’t have to blow trumpets, but I do want you to acknowledge it. That’s what this is about. If you want to get into Santa Claus, you’re gonna have to go back to history, and it’s all about religion.”

As not to spoil any part of the show, Allen wasn’t specific to how they incorporated Christianity into the story. He did indicate that they found a “brilliant way” to include the messaging that could be seen around episodes five and six.

In a time where it feels like Christmas is increasingly becoming a commercialized holiday for presents and shopping, Tim Allen’s actions are refreshing. People are often discouraged from saying “Merry Christmas”, opting to say “happy holidays” as if to avoid being offensive. Many children have likely not been taught the true meaning of Christmas these days, rather seeing it just as a day to open gifts.

We need to return to the traditional, Christian values associated with Christmas and Tim Allen is helping lead the way.

These actions have certainly drawn strong criticism from the woke left on the internet. The Washington Examiner reported on the topic:

“Allen’s Santa was criticized in the new series as being “too right wing.” Santa’s big, unforgivable sin? Lamenting the left-wing cultural backlash against saying “Merry Christmas.” During one scene in the show, Allen’s character, Scott Calvin, aka Santa Claus, says, “Merry Christmas is suddenly problematic.” Well, such a sentence was too much for the sensitive ears of the left-wing social media mob. While the Left diligently enforces what Allen claimed, highlighting such a fact is forbidden.”

“..I always found it funny that the Left, which endlessly preaches about having freedom of speech, gets upset when people mock them for their speech. It’s well known the Left has routinely objected to saying “Merry Christmas” during this time of year. In their warped minds, saying it is “not inclusive” or “diverse” or whatever societal ill they are whining about at the moment. But then, when their absurdities are pointed out, they, once again, get mad.”

In similar fashion to advocating for a more Christian-oriented Christmas, Tim Allen has been advocating for conservative values and criticizing the libs at a time when woke Hollywood is nothing more than leftist groupthink.

Allen recently triggered liberals across the internet with a Hilarious tweet mocking Joe Biden on an interview with CBS News’ 60 Minutes. The actor tweeted, “Biden was on 60 Minutes. I heard he asked how long the show was.”
