Bob Barker, legendary ‘Price is Right’ host, celebrates 99th birthday

Legendary game show host Bob Barker celebrated his 99th birthday Monday, Dec. 12, 2022.

Barker, who hosted “The Price is Right” from 1972 until 2007, is also a well-known animal rights activist.

Before hosting “The Price is Right,” Barker was the host of “Truth or Consequences” from 1956 until 1975.

Barker is known for his signature catchphrase, “C’mon down!” and was always faithful to remind viewers to “have your pets spayed and neutered to help control the pet population.”

“He will spend his birthday at home watching his favorite TV shows and will spend it quietly,” a news release from Barker’s team said.

Comedian Drew Carey replaced Barker and has been leading the show since Oct. 2007.

Happy birthday, Bob!
