His work spanned over 50 years. After being born in New York, Henry moved to Hollywood as a young man and the rest is history.

Tributes for the celebrated actor began pouring in as soon as the sad news was released. Deana Martin posted the following on Twitter:

“Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear friend Henry Silva, one of the nicest, kindest and most talented men I’ve had the pleasure of calling my friend. He was the last surviving star of the original Ocean’s 11 move. We love you Henry, you will be missed.”

Fans have also expressed their appreciate for his talents, with many agreeing that he was “one of the most versatile actors in film and television.”
