2nd Offense: The View Suspends Whoopi for 6 Weeks Without Pay

She just can’t keep her mouth shut, so producers had to shut it for her.

Whoopi Goldberg, “The View” host who rakes in $17 million a year, will sit out for 6 weeks unpaid after yet another anti-Semitic rant to the London Times.

Goldberg basically took Hitler’s side again, because he didn’t focus on black people. She obviously forgets that Hitler had a bunch of people killed in Africa. ‘That’s not the point,” said the disgraced host, “I meant that it’s not as easy to tell a Jew from a German as it is to point out a black person in Aryan Europe,” Goldberg remarked, once again minimizing the plight of the Jewish people.

The mainstream news networks were all quick to jump on the story since the context was easy to spin. Joe Barron, the show’s head producer, says they had no choice but to respond. “When Boomers get outraged, we have to make them happy. Punishing people they don’t like and don’t watch makes for good publicity.”

Whoopi stands to lose about $6 million in salary and endorsements. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer woman. Rumor has it she might just lose her contract with Sketchers, which could cost her close to $400 million. There would surely be more had the article not reached the 200-word minimum for optimal advertising revenue.
